Inside California Education is a statewide public television series offering informative and compelling stories about California public education.
Inside California Education is an award-winning public TV series helping Californians understand education issues and learn about programs that are making a difference. Stories highlight academic and workforce development programs and celebrate the people who dedicate their careers to providing the best possible educational experience for your children.
Since 2019, Inside California Education has produced stories focused on California’s Community Colleges, the largest higher education institution in the nation with more than two million students. From small rural districts to urban schools, Inside California Education travels the state to tell important stories about public education across various platforms.
PBS Stations
California PBS stations are currently airing season four episodes and repeating episodes from seasons 1-3 — more than 50 half-hour programs in all. In many television markets, episodes appear on multiple PBS stations (e.g., KCET, KVCR, KOCE, and KLCS in Los Angeles), and on several channel streams for each station (e.g., KQED, KQEH, KQED Plus).
Online
The InsideCalEd.org website serves as a hub for the series and provides unlimited access to stories and episodes, along with opportunities to share content with partners, customers, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. Full episodes and individual stories are also available via kvie.org and YouTube.
